1. So I feel better about myself.
2. So I increase my feelings of self worth.
3. So I look good in a tight dress.
4. So I am healthier.
5. So I can go into any store, and buy the clothes I like, not just the ones that fit.
6. So I reduce my blood pressure.
7. So I feel comfortable.
8. So I can run on the beach in a bathing suit and feel proud.
9. So I don’t wear pants out between my legs while the rest of them are still in good shape.
10. So I never feel my fat jiggle again!
11. So I can look in the mirror from the neck down and like what I see.
12. So I feel strong and fit again.
13. So I can show off my muscles, instead of just feeling fat.
14. So I can walk up a flight of stairs and not feel winded.
15. So I can get up and dance and not feel weird.
16. So I can lay outside and suntan on my front lawn if I want.
17. So I can wear underwear that looks cute and dainty, not something industrial.
18. So I can consider entering a triathlon and have it be a possibility.
19. So I can discover getting dressed every morning is a joy and not a dreaded chore.
20. So I can pick the haircut I really want and not just one that is for fat people.
21. So I can never be called "a big girl" ever again.
22. So I can not be embarrassed to have my picture taken.
23. So I can walk in heels comfortably
24. So I can crawl around on the floor hooking up computer cables without wondering how bad I look.
25. So I can look in a full-length mirror with pride, instead of despair.
26. So I can get up from the floor in one smooth move and not a grab and hold on to something move.
27. So I can look good in a business suit, a dress or a short skirt
28. So my joints won’t hurt so much.
29. So I can lie in bed, look down and see my toes without lifting my head off the pillow.
30. So I can boat out to the middle of a bay and go skiing, and be able to pull myself back in the boat.
31. So a regular towel goes all the way around me, and maybe even looks cute.
32. So I can hug my knees to my chest again, and it’s comfortable.
33. So I can wear a light top, and there aren't dents where my bra straps are.
34. So I never have to look at someone else with envy again, thinking, "Wow, I wish I was that thin".
35. So that my breasts stick out more than my stomach and not the other way around.
36. So I can fit into the theatre seats comfortably.
37. So I can look straight down and see my toes instead of bending over to see them.
38. So I can bend over comfortably to tie my shoes and paint my toenails
39. So I can feel the power of accomplishment.
40. So the clothes I wear will look better on me and will appear tailored instead of baggy and sloppy.
41. So I can shave all of my legs instead of just what I can reach.
42. So I can feel sexier and when I feel sexier, I will become sexier...
43. So my heart won't have to work as hard.
44. So I can be healthier and less likely to acquire illnesses associated with weight gain such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and poor circulation.
45. So I won't perspire as much, and will feel and smell cleaner.
46. So I will be less winded when walking stairs or long distances.
47. So my laundry time will be reduced because of the smaller clothing.
48. So I can become an inspiration and motivator to others who are trying to lose weight.
49. So I can want to go to that next class reunion.
50. So my back and feet will thank me.
51. So I will become less critical and negative about myself.

REASONS TO BE SLIM 31/12/2009
1. So I feel better about myself.
