"You can have the results you say you want, or you can have all the reasons in the world why you can’t have them. But you can’t have both. Reasons or results. You get to choose."

DAY 11, TUESDAY 12TH JAN

I am on track :)

Having no problem eating within my points allowance each day.  I am managing most days to save a few, which is handy when we go out!

I am thinking of switching my start and end day of my points 'week' as finishing the night before my 8am WI means I am reluctant to have a treat with any remaining points.  If I go from Sunday to Saturday then I can use up my leftovers after WI.  I am NOT 'spending' points I don't have with the plan to save them after the event.  I have mentioned before that having to save points after I have used them is a trigger for me to go off plan.

Last night was one of the hottest on record for Melbourne, our LOWEST temperature was 33 (91F) overnight.  It is going back up to 41 (106F) today before the cool change hits.  I slept reasonably, but DH didn't so he woke me up a few times.  Luckily being that hot overnight is an exception.

I have been thinking about different weight loss approaches.  In the past I have been super keen to get to goal as fast as I possibly can so I can 'stop'.  Now I realise that this is for life I am not in such a rush.  If it takes me an extra few months to get to goal but I enjoy the journey that is a better outcome for me, I think.  It is a change in thinking that I am still getting used to, but I like it.  As long as the scales are going down then I am doing well!
