"You can have the results you say you want, or you can have all the reasons in the world why you can’t have them. But you can’t have both. Reasons or results. You get to choose."

DAY 10, 11TH JAN (MONDAY)

You know what?  I forgot how much FUN it can be to lose weight!

There are several reasons it is working so well this time:
  • Allowing myself the extra points makes me feel like I am treating myself on a daily basis.  Of course if my weight loss slows donw I will have been!
  • My 'It's not optional' mantra.
  • Focusing on the results (daily, weekly and a variety of short, medium and long term goals) and the journey rather than what I am moving from.
  • Making food choices I enjoy
  • Having a note book in the kitchen with a range of breakfast, lunches and dinners with points calculated.  Makes the choice "which of these meals" rather than "on track or off track"
  • Treating my daily points allowance as a budget that I can choose how to spend.  No food is good or bad, I just make choices based on hunger levels compared to available points.
  • A good WW leader.
  • Easter Challenges
  • Having a weekly schedule
  • Being on ADD meds
  • DH being supportive of me doing WW.
