"You can have the results you say you want, or you can have all the reasons in the world why you can’t have them. But you can’t have both. Reasons or results. You get to choose."

Most Amusing...

Ever since I wrote my blog about successful losers staying on track I have read a NUMBER of blogs by people I consider very successful who have bad days and even weeks!

There you go.

You can succeed without perfection.

There is hope for me after all.

Phew!

I haven't met a perfect one yet...lol. Maybe it's the company I keep

Nobody is perfect. No matter how much weight we lose we have our good days and our bad. Fortunately the good far outweigh the bad. So if you slip up and eat that goodie, you are not bad - you're just human.

What I am beginning to realize as I learn to maintain my weight loss is that just like in life, you have your good days and your bad days. You have your successes and your failures. It's the getting back on the bandwagon each morning that matters. The scale has it's place, but I do not bow at its altar. I will not let a number define me or my ability to enjoy life. I just keep committing myself to making the best choices I can, and if I get a little lax... I reevaluate and tighten up my behavior a little. The winter has definitely challenged my diet and exercising mojo, but Spring is coming and I'm really excited about enjoying the great outdoors again.

Hang in there sweetie.

we all struggle and that's what makes us human. As long as you put one foot infront of the other and take it one day at a time, things will be ok :-)

I always try to remember the quote "Its the journey, not the destination." I think you're a success if you just try...which you do!

Yes, you CAN definitely succeed without perfection! (I'm proof!) You wouldn't have many stories to tell, or advice to offer, if you didn't stray sometimes.

This week I've been tracking - not sticking with my points as well as I should have, and I lost 800g. Purely by exercising like I should and writing everything down - even the bad stuff, even the 40 point days.

Just enjoy the journey and learn from it! xoxo
